DFB Team: Flick waived BVB stars
Without a single player of Borussia Dortmund, but with Neutling Anton Stach and some returnees, the German football national team starts to the World Cup year. This revealed the nomination of national coach Hansi Flick for the international matches on March 26th in Sinsheim against Israel and three days later in Amsterdam against the Netherlands.
The international match double pack was characterized by the war in Ukraine, said Flick. “My expectation to the team is that in this really difficult time we show two good games that fun and joy can be seen that it is a little distraction for all the people who are worried,” asked the national coach. “If you see the pictures you can play from Ukraine – it just hurts,” added flick, “there will be a quick thing that’s what we do is football.”
Against Israel and the Netherlands, Flick has to renounce in its 26-member bid on the diseased Marco Reus and the injured Niklas Süle, Jonas Hofmann and Florian Wirtz. In addition, the international matches for the recently recently returned from a long injury break, leaving Leon Goretzka and Robin Gosens too early. Goalkeeper Bernd Leno (FC Arsenal) and the Dortmund Emre Can and Julian Brandt are not there because of the missing game rhythm.
The most recently diseased to Corona Mats Hummels did not give a chance of a comeback. “That has nothing to do with lack of quality,” said Flick about the absent BVB professionals, “they are on our field of view.”
For this, the Mainz ragged to his debut in the national team hope. “He still has air up, but we want to see what he offers us,” Flick said about the U21 European Champion. The same applies to the returnees Julian Weigl (Benfica Lisbon), Robin Koch (Leeds United) and Benjamin Henrichs (RB Leipzig).
An assignment warranty spoke of the national coach the most recently strong Freiburg central defender Nico Schlotterbeck. Maybe even a cancellation of the battered wing player Karim Adeyemi threatens.
The German bid:
Tor : Manuel new (Bayern Munich), Marc-Andre Ter Stegen (FC Barcelona), Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt)
Defense : Mathias Ginter (Borussia Mönchengladbach), Christian Günter, Nico Schlotterbeck (Both Sc Freiburg), Benjamin Henrichs (RB Leipzig), Thilo Kehrer (Paris St. Germain), Robin Koch (Leeds United), David Room ( TSG Hoffenheim), Antonio Rüdiger (FC Chelsea), Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen)
