“In 2013, the world was devastated by an apocalyptic event, annihilating almost all humanity and transforming the surface of the earth into a toxic vague ground. A handful of survivors took refuge in the depths of the Moscow metro and human civilization entered a new age of darkness.
“The year is 2033. An entire generation was born and grew underground, and their cities of besieged metro stations struggle for their survival, between them, and the mutant horrors waiting outside.
“You are Artyom, born in the last days before the fire, but high underground. Having never ventured beyond the limits of the city, a fateful event triggers a desperate mission in the heart of the subway, to warn the remains of humanity of a terrible imminent threat.
But will they even listen? Rather than staying united, metro factions are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power, an apocalyptic device of the military safes of D6. A civil war is happening that could erase humanity from the surface of the Earth forever. »
